When did Shri Mahaprabhuji write these granths?

His first composition, Shri Yamunashtakam was written by him at the age of 14 years in V.S. 1549, at the banks of Shri Yamunaji in gokul.

Shir Mahaprabhuji's last work Anta:karan-prabodh was written in V.S. 1587 in the month of April, when he waw 52 years. The remaining granths have been written in between these years at different times and places.

Why did Shri Mahaprabhuji write these granths?

When you do not understand something, you ask your teacher in school, who in turn explains the answer to you. Similarly, during Shri Mahaprabhuji's time, many Vaishnavs were confused about certain subject-topics. They had questioned Shri Mahaprabhuji about their conflicting doubts. To clear their doubts and confusion, he had written these granths. He had explicated every granth to those Vaishnavs.

However, Shri Mahaprabhuji had also written many granths for Himself. E.g. Shri Yamunashtak. When he got Shri Yamunaji's darshan, he wrote it to culogize her. Likewise, for his own mental satisfaction he wrote Ant:karan-prabodh.
