How does a 'jeev' measure?

The shashtras have described the size and shape of the 'jeev'. If you take a strand of hair and split into 10,000 fragments, that is the size of a jeev, the smallest subtle fragment.

When we die, where does our soul go?

It is our body that dies. The soul 'jeev' never dies. Depending on our good and bad karma, we are destined for re-birth. Evil deeds send one to the pittires of hell. But a Vaishnav, who with a love-filled heart, does Shri thakorji's Seva his whole life does not have a rebirth. That soul goes to God's abode, Golok, where there is bliss in the form of Shri Thakorji's seva his whole life does not have a rebirth. Where there is bliss in the form of Shri Thakorji's seva-darshan; the soul attains that 'anand'. This is exactly why we as Vaishnav must do 'Seva' and 'Samaran' (constantly) remembering God.

BRAMASAMBANDH

What does 'Brahmasambandh' mean?

Brahma=Oaramatma. We are embodies souls. Bhagwan Shri Krishna is Paramatma. Many sparks of fire fly out from a fireplace. They are known as a minute particle of the fire. Similarly every jeevatma - embodied soul is - known as a minute particle of Paramatma. A spark of fire away after leaving the fireplace turns to small fragments of coal. If we use it as fuel in the fireplace, it turns into fire. On being separated from its origined or reunited with Paramatma it becomes Paramatma. This reunion of the jeevatma and Paramatma is called Brahmasambandh.

Who is the first exponent of this Brahma-sambandh? When was it declared?

Lord Krishna himself appeared at midnight on Shravan sud ekadashi, in Gokul. He explained this concept of Brahma - sambandh to Shri Mahaprabhuji and passed on a mantra to achieve this aim. This 5th centenary of the boon of Brahmasambandh.

How many letters are contained in Brahma-sambandh Mantra? In which language is it read and given?

It has 84 letters. It is in Sanskrit. It's last five letters are known as panchakshar mantra.
