-
In taking Braham Sambandh initiation, pushti souls
dedicate every thing belonging to them i.e., heart, mind, speech and
action all abd everything, to Prabhu and then by utilizing all of
these in seva, surrender is perfected.
-
The sacred duties of seva satsang and remembrance
are the most crucial of all duties.
-
The only desire should be for the deepening of bhava
and devotion.
-
As long as there is egotism, the qualities of becoming
a true vaishnav will remain at a distant.
-
The heart, mind, speech and action should be pervaded
with dinta (humbleness).
-
Every thing that is attained in Pushti Marg comes
through His grace. There is no other means.
-
To become beloved to Prabhu, one should abandon useless
intellectual disputes and also worldly pleasures.
-
We do not live to eat but we eat to live a healthy
life of devotion. Food nourishes the body. Devotion nourishes the
heart.
-
One should never see worldliness in the divine realm.
-
One should see divinity in all animate and inanimate
things. Through this, all relations will become pervaded with divine
sentiments.
-
One should engage oneself in satsang daily because
in satsang, one's bahva is nourished.
-
Never speak in such a way so as to cause enemity
and never eat any thing that will cause illness.
-
Ashtakshar Mantra 'Shri Krishna Sharanam Mama' is
a divine mantra which bestows all divine attainments. Hence it should
be repeated unceasingly.
-
Repeatedly saying of mantra, recitation and remembrance
are all Prabhu's name seva.
-
Only one who has control over the heart and mind
can be considered victorious. Only when there is control over the
heart and mind, there can be firm faith in Prabhu.
-
When an individual experiences Prabhu at the atman
level, his deepest feelings of Love will remain in Prabhu automatically.
-
Duties prescribed according to caste and stage of
life should be fulfilled in the total extent to one's capacity, It
should never be to any lesser degree and should be fulfilled during
one's entire life.
-
One should abstain from any activity which transgress
scriptural laws.
-
In Satyuga, the fruits obtained from a year of duties
performed require only a month. in tretayuga. In Dwaparyuga those
same fruits come in a day and in Kaliyuga it takes only a second.
-
Pleasures of the senses ultimately cause suffering
in the realm beyond mundane existence.
-
Whenever there is arrogance due to wealth there will
automatically be aggressiveness.
-
One who sees faults in Bhagwan (Shri Thakurji), even
if he is staunch devotee, can not experience Thakurji's lila.
-
Steadfast knowledge of Prabhu's divine powers and
reserving one's deepest feelings of love for Prabhu alone is called
devotion.
-
Just as love for Bhagwan brings liberation, so satsang
leads to liberation.
-
Knowledge and Vivek, i.e. true discrimination, are
one's true eyes. Without them, inspite of having a human body, one
is blind.
-
It should be understood that the innate state of
anand (bliss) is awakened through satsang.
-
One who has a perpetual intense desire for glimpses
of Bhagwan will pass through all of life's tests.
-
Prabhu resides eternally in the pure hearts of His
devotees.
