Shri Girdharlalji is the first Jewel of SHRI VITHALNATHJI (GUASAINJI).

He was born in Devrakh, the house of Shri Vallabh, in Adel on Tuesday, the 12th of sudh kartik, samv. 1597
He was named “Girdharji” and Shri Vithalnathji called him by his second name “Goverdhan”.

He was fair, very slim, wearing white doti & uprana. He had knowledge of all sastras (religious books).

He was Satwick with six guans (elements).

In Gokal he had his Chola karma (mudhan) on chaitrai sudh 9 in samv. 1601. Uopnain (jainou) in chaitrai sudh 5 samv. 1605 in Kashi.

He was married on margshis sudh 15, samv. 1614 in Gokul with SHRI BHAMINIJI. He had six children.

• First son SHRI MURLIDHARJI was born in samv. 1630, Ashwin sudh 10,
• Second son SHRI DHAMODHARJI was born in samv. 1632 Shrawan sudh 15 and
• Third son SHRI GOPINATHJI (Dixitji) was born in samv. 1634 posh vedh 4.


He had three daughters, they were


• Shri Vani betiji,
• Shri Mahalaxmiji betiji and
• Shri Subhdra betiji.

His second son Shri Dhamodharji had honor to perform Shri Nathji’s Seva and was called as “Tilkayat”.

The first Nidi Swaroop Shri Mathuradeshji’s Seva was given to his third son Shri Gopinathji. This Swaroop was handed over to him by Shri Guasainji as his share.

Shri Gusainji blessed Shri Bhaminiji as “Hari Bari goadh”, because She nourished and bought up His seventh son Shri Ghanshyamji when His mother Shri Padmavati went into lila,

To day we see most of Balaks are of His (Shri Girdharji) Generations.

With Shri Gusainji’s instruction he wrote the Purvapax (first half) of Vidhvanmandel granth (book). This granth proves that he was most learned, and His other works were:

• Ustav nirnay,
• Ghadmantra’s tika (commentary on Bramasamband’s mantra) and
• Only three slokas of Shri Goverdhandharan Shri Nathji’ istuti.

He had five Bathakjis:-

• In Gokul near Shri Gusaiji's Bathakji where he started writing Vidhvanmandal,
• In Jatipura in SHRI MATURANATHJI'S HAVELI,
• In Kameri in cave,
• In Narisemari here he stayed for six months and gave discourse on Shrimadh Bhagwata &
• In Kamvan near kund.

His Vauji (wife) SHRI BHAMINIJI bought up SHRI GHANSHYAMJI (the seventh son of SHRI GUSAINJI) because his mother went into lila at his early age.

He gave Bramasamband to only six people that too these six people entered LILA on the spot. He entered in LILA in sawant 1677, Posh vedh 2, by entering in the cave opposite SHRI MATHURANATHJI'S MUKHARBINDU.
