Importance of DHANTAIRAS in Pustimargiya: In the month of Kartik krishnapash 13 is Dhantairas. The main Sakhi is Shri Lalithaji. All seva is under Her supervison.

This day anndhan is main subject, each and everyone is given ann(food grain). The main dhan of brajbakth are Cows, they are decorated with gold ornaments and puja is done by giving tilak and hand impression on cows body and then they are offered "thuli"(broken wheat cooked in ghee water when done gur is added.)

From this day for 4 days deepdhan plays important role and deep are alightened in the house also outside.

The aabushan (jewellery) which will be worn by Shri Thakurji are washed and cleaned and kept ready to be worn for the 4 days.

This day is the brithday of DHANVANTRI.

THAKURJI'S SINGHAR: Vastra green jari's chakdhar vaga sothan and pagh morechandrica, karanful 4, thada vastra red, jewellery made of ruby and pearls, chokhatha jaraou, loom and sirpach.
