Q: What was the incident that made him known all over India?

A: Victory in Vidyanagar's discussions.

A: Raja Krishna-Deo Rai, who was a colleague of Maharaja Narsing Varma, arranged a very big religious discussion.

A: He was interested to know which Vedic Religious Sect is greater, as at that time, there were plenty many divisions within our Vedic Religion.

Q: Who were the participants?

A: On one side there were the followers of Rama-nuja-acharaya, Vishnu Swami, Nimbark and Madhwa-acharya Sampradaya and on the other there were the followers of Shankar-acharaya.

Q: Who was the main speaker?

A: Shri Vyas-tirth from Vaish-nav side and Shri Vidya-tirtha from other side, were the chief speakers.

Q: How did Vallabh-acharya happen to go there?

A: Shri Vidya-bhushan, the treasurer of Vidya-nagar, was the maternal uncle of Vallabha-acharaya. His mother was living with him. He had gone to see her.

Q: How did he join the 'Shas-trath' (debate)?

A: Vyas-tirtha the speaker of Vaishnav Sampradaya was defeated by Vidya-tirtha. Therefore, the 'Kanaka-bhishek' was arranged for him. But when Shri Vallabh-acharya interrupted and said that the 'Shas-trarth' was incomplete. Let me advocate for Vaish-na-vism.

Q: Did the king accept him?

A: Gladly he accepted and offered him a respectable seat.

A: Once a written copper plate was given by him to a priest (Purohit) of Ujjain, Narottam Sharma, which is yet with him safe. On the copper plate Maha-prabhu-ji fixed some annual amount for this purohit of his, regarding religious performance of holy place Ujjain. Maha-prabhu-ji expostulated a new definition of 'Shudh-dawait' (pur non duality of God) and told that God is truth. This world is created by God. There are bad as well good beings. In fact they are the part and parcel of the same God. During his stay in Vidyanagar Maha-prabhu-ji wrote two granthas "Anu-Bha-shya" and "Bhag-wat-arth Nibandh".
