Q: What was the incident that made him known all over India? |
A: Victory in Vidyanagar's discussions. |

Q: How? |
A: Raja Krishna-Deo Rai, who was a colleague of Maharaja Narsing Varma, arranged a very big religious discussion. |
|

Q: Why and for what purpose? |
A: He was interested to know which Vedic Religious Sect is greater, as at that time, there were plenty many divisions within our Vedic Religion. |

Q: Who were the participants? |
A: On one side there were the followers of Rama-nuja-acharaya, Vishnu Swami, Nimbark and Madhwa-acharya Sampradaya and on the other there were the followers of Shankar-acharaya. |

Q: Who was the main speaker? |
A: Shri Vyas-tirth from Vaish-nav side and Shri Vidya-tirtha from other side, were the chief speakers. |

|
Q: How did Vallabh-acharya happen to go there? |
A: Shri Vidya-bhushan, the treasurer of Vidya-nagar, was the maternal uncle of Vallabha-acharaya. His mother was living with him. He had gone to see her. |

Q: How did he join the 'Shas-trath' (debate)? |
A: Vyas-tirtha the speaker of Vaishnav Sampradaya was defeated by Vidya-tirtha. Therefore, the 'Kanaka-bhishek' was arranged for him. But when Shri Vallabh-acharya interrupted and said that the 'Shas-trarth' was incomplete. Let me advocate for Vaish-na-vism. |

A: Gladly he accepted and offered him a respectable seat. |

A: Shri Maha-prabhu-ji Vallabh-acharya convinced in such a way that everybody was in surprise, because of Vallabh-acharya's great knowledge and power Vaish-navas got victory. |

A: For 28 days. |

Q: How did the king come to know the arrival of Vallabh-acharya in Vidyanagar? |
A: Maha-prabhu's follower, Kamandal, informed the king that the great intellectual personality has come in the city. His name is Shri Vallabh-acharya-ji. |

Q: What was the effect on the king? |
A: Immediately Maha-prabhu-ji was cordially invited in the conference. |
|
|
|
Q: What the feelings of members of the conference? |
A: All were surprised at his wonderful knowledge. |
|

Q: What function was arranged in respect of Shri Vallabh-acharya's victory? |
A: His 'Kanak-abhishek' was performed with a huge quantity of gold pots to become his belongings after holy bath. |

Q: What did Mahaprabhuji do of that gold? |
A: He distributed it all amongst the Brahmins. |

Q: Didn't he keep with him some part of it? |
A: He accepted only seven coins for ornaments purpose. The seven coins were converted into pieces of Jewellery to be worn by Shri-Mukund-Rai-ji. |

Q: What was the effect on other participants? |
A: Noticing his munificence they were greatly influenced and were thinking of offering him the main chair of 'Vishnu Swamy Sect.' |

Q: Was it accepted by Vallabhacharya? |
A: Yes, he accepted it because in it there was the description about the greatness of Shri Krishna's childhood. |

Q: Then he might have been honored throughout the country? |
A: As soon as he got the victory, he was awarded the honor (Title)of 'Jagad-Guru' and some servants were also appointed for his service by the king. |

Q: It is heard that even now some relics of Maha-prabhu-ji are with a Brahmin in Ujjain and they are safe? |
A: Once a written copper plate was given by him to a priest (Purohit) of Ujjain, Narottam Sharma, which is yet with him safe. On the copper plate Maha-prabhu-ji fixed some annual amount for this purohit of his, regarding religious performance of holy place Ujjain. Maha-prabhu-ji expostulated a new definition of 'Shudh-dawait' (pur non duality of God) and told that God is truth. This world is created by God. There are bad as well good beings. In fact they are the part and parcel of the same God. During his stay in Vidyanagar Maha-prabhu-ji wrote two granthas "Anu-Bha-shya" and "Bhag-wat-arth Nibandh". |

Q: Was he staying there forever? |
A: He traveled towards North Punjab, Sindh and passing through North India, he reached Jagan-nath Puri, where religious conference was arranged by the King Lok-raj Deo. |

Q: Did he take part in it? |
A: Yes, he got victory also. There he was asked four questions by the King Lok-raj Deo.

Q: Did he answer all the questions? |
A: Yes. |

Q: But did King agree to the answers? |
A: No. The King was not ready to accept Shri Krishna as God. So he put a condition. He said, if God Jagan-nath writes on the paper, he will accept it. |
