The birth of Kamdhenu (Cow) in Shri madh Bhagwatji
|
|
Kamdhenu the sacred cow is a part of Vedic Sanatan Dharma. She is the cow, which grants all wishes and desires. She is the cow of plenty, which emerged from the Sagar during Sagar-manthan (the churning of the ocean) and taken by seven Devs, who compose the constellation of the Great Bear in the sky. She is also known as SURABHI, SHAVAL, ADITI and KAMDUH. She is the mother of all cows. Brahmaji created the Brahmins and the Cow at the same time; the Brahmins were to recite Veds Mantras and scriptures while the cow was to afford ghee (clarified butter) for religious sacrifices.
|
During the process of Sagar-manthan (churning the ocean), Kamdhenu the cow along with, Lakshmiji the Mother of wealth, Amruta, the Drink of immortality and Kalpvruksh the Tree of fulfilment have all emerged at the same time from the Sagar during the Sagar-manthan and are considered to be most splendorous embodiments of divinity. The secretions for formation of the seven planes of existence emerge from Kamdhenu and the related formation of creation is therefore considered in the form of Cow.

Moon in Taurus is the Cow.
Sun in Taurus is the Bull.
Mercury in Taurus is Calf
Taurus has much to do with the family of Cow.
The central star of Orion, Aldebaran (Rohini) sends special rays via Taurus:-
- Through Sun whose embodiment on Earth is Bull
- Through Moon the star Rohini sends the rays in Taurus whose embodiment on Earth is the Cow
- Likewise, the rays of Rohini via Mercury in Taurus give birth to Calf

Throughout His life, there was not a single day where he did not serve the Cows. Devtas worship cows to fulfil their purposes. Cows body contain 330 million Devtas, they all dwell in Cow’s body. When all Devtas are available in cow’s body, it should be most auspicious for all Vedic Sanathan Dharma peoples to protect and to serve cows. Therefore, it is a moral duty of all of us to serve and respect cow.
Among the cows, coffee colored (almost black) is most sacred. These cows are known as Kapilas.
Natural wealth is more valuable than material wealth. Amidst the natural wealth, holding and serving the cow is the most precious wealth on this earth. Service and worship to Cow establishes one in the quality of poise (sattva) – a quality that enables ascent into higher planes of existence.
Wise people are those who learn, update and change before time and situation puts them through an ordeal. All desire better living and if you have a medium to adopt with your limited time and resources only the ignorant will wait for a trail to make them understand the essence of good living.
The power of positive mind has a great capacity and can make all difficult things possible and God’s grace is an essential part for all to stay focused on positivities in the midst of all negative surroundings. Gau-seva is the easiest form of pleasing Bhagwan Shri Krishna and being His Kripa patra, and a sureshot formula of success. However, to perform this seva is the matter of personal choice and willingness because it is only faith that can make the rocks float on water, and it is only your deeds, which will decide the results of your future endeavours.
Jai Shri Krishna
