GAU-SEVA

This Kaal (time) is Kal Yug. Here time seems to be moving at a faster pace, wherein the individual hopes and aspirations to obtain fast results out of every job they perform have become paramount.

Righteousness simply has no place in the human mind. People in this Yug are by default sinners. In order to do good deeds people are, told to do so. People also need motivation for being good and lastly, they turn to religion only when they land themselves in any trouble. Coming back to, time, which is running, the lives of all people today.

Every one is busy with fulfilling their materialist needs; fail to take some time for worshipping, prayers, and doing good deeds. Everything today has to be fast paced and any form of Prabhu Seva that can accommodate their current lifestyle is adjusted, or a common excuse follows, “I wish to pray every day for half an hour but time does not permit me.” Moreover, to be very frank it is truly the case these days with all the people. Today every body is running 24/7, but who said, good deeds cannot be performed daily, without sacrificing your tight scheduled time.

The matter of fact is Prayer and Seva does not need time, but the will to perform. There is a famous saying “Where there is a will there is a way” so is the case for Sat-karma (good deeds) that helps us purify the mind and soul.

Sometimes it becomes difficult to make all people agree on this, because all minds need the proof and results but again I would say faith in God should be build – not proven, earned not claimed and secondly, you must first deserve and then demand.

God is not for us to provide any explanation, but out of his generosity, he repeatedly enlightens the lost and confused mind and soul of people of earth.

In addition, we must not forget to understand his language the way he wants us to understand, we need his grace, but for this, we have to first, seek refuge into His lotus feet completely. Then, perhaps we may certainly get the answers for, why his universe is like this, the way it is?

However, if you still insist on proven facts we have it. All curious minds can be satisfied. Firstly, you may ask, what is this magical mantra of seva that does not consume time? There are many answers to this. Today let us talk about the simplest form that is, performed by child and an adult at the same time and this is none other than “Gau Seva”. Yes Gau (Cow) is animal for the ordinary mind, but the person who sees and has knowledge of the Vedic Scriptures, knows the Gau or Cow as Mother Earth!
